Since 28 June 2025, online racing and sports betting in New Zealand is prohibited unless it is operated by TAB NZ, including its brand betcha (DIA). Other betting sites taking NZ customers sit outside that framework. Entain operates the betting services within that framework. The two brands are not two independent regulatory systems.
