A demo library during a licensing transition
This page is a catalogue of provider demos, not a directory of New Zealand online casinos. Opening a game does not create a real-money account and does not imply that an offshore website has New Zealand authorisation.
Free pokies and free casino games in NZ
Search for a pokie or another casino game by name, choose a provider or narrow the result by game type. Most-played demos appear first. Choosing a title opens the player on this page and requests a session only after your click.
Virtual credits remain virtual
An NZD-style symbol inside a game is display context. The balance and any displayed win cannot be deposited, withdrawn or exchanged for money. A demo is also separate from operator free spins or a no-deposit promotion.
If a studio is slow
The loader continues to show the connection state instead of claiming that a game opened. You can wait or retry without leaving the catalogue page. Country, device and maintenance restrictions can still prevent a title from starting.
Frequently asked questions
Are free pokies in NZ really free?
Yes: the demo pokies and table games use virtual credits, and opening a game does not create a real-money account. The balance and any displayed win cannot be deposited, withdrawn or exchanged for money, even when an NZD-style symbol appears inside the game. The library of 35,000+ demos is kept separate from New Zealand’s real-money casino rules.
How many free casino games can I play in NZ?
More than 35,000 demo pokies and table games are available to New Zealand players on CasinoPlanet, all played with virtual credits. You can search by game name, choose a provider or narrow the results by game type, and the most-played demos appear first. Choosing a title opens the player on the same page and requests a session only after your click.
Is a free pokie demo the same as free spins?
No. A demo pokie is separate from operator free spins or a no-deposit promotion, and it uses virtual credits that cannot be withdrawn. Opening a demo in CasinoPlanet’s New Zealand catalogue does not create a real-money account or imply that an offshore website has New Zealand authorisation. The catalogue is a demo library, not a directory of New Zealand online casinos.
Why won’t a free pokie load in NZ?
A demo can be slow if the game studio is slow, and country, device or maintenance restrictions can stop a title from starting. On CasinoPlanet’s New Zealand games page, the loader keeps showing the connection state instead of claiming that a game opened. You can wait or retry without leaving the catalogue page.
